For the past eight years, Tai Roto Bay has welcomed guests to its beautiful beachfront property. Offering a peaceful and private island experience, the boutique accommodation is known for its stunning lagoon views, relaxed atmosphere, and warm hospitality.

After learning about the support available through BLP, Tai Roto Bay applied for a BLP grant to assist with upgrading its guest facilities.
The small grant was used to purchase bar equipment for the property’s breakfast lounge facility, located within the waterfront guest lounge area. The investment enabled the business to better equip the space and establish a dedicated breakfast bar for guests to enjoy each morning.
“The grant gave us the opportunity to invest in facilities that directly benefit our guests,” she confirms. “The breakfast lounge has become a wonderful space where visitors can start their day in a scenic and peaceful beachfront setting.”
Since introducing the upgraded breakfast lounge facility, guest feedback has been overwhelmingly positive. Visitors have particularly enjoyed the unique beachfront dining experience, with many commenting on the relaxing atmosphere and beautiful lagoon surroundings.
The new equipment has also improved the functionality of the space for staff, making it easier to provide quality service while enhancing the overall guest experience.
“The improvements have added a special feature to our property and helped create even more memorable experiences for our guests,” he adds.
Looking ahead, Tai Roto Bay remains committed to continually improving its facilities and maintaining the high standards that guests have come to expect from the boutique beachfront accommodation.
