In May 2026, WebSafe supported an SME training programme focused on cybersecurity and ICT transformation. The training was combined with BLP diagnostic tools to help participating businesses assess their operations, identify digital risks and develop practical priorities for improvement.
WebSafe also supports the delivery of BusinessGuard cybersecurity awareness training in collaboration with CERT NZ and MCIT. The programme provides SMEs with practical guidance to help strengthen their everyday cybersecurity practices.
WebSafe’s work focuses on the realities faced by businesses every day. This includes helping owners and employees understand risks associated with weak passwords, unsafe online behaviour, poor data protection practices and limited awareness of cyber threats.
