Business Link Pacific (BLP) proudly supports business advisory professionals in Vanuatu to reach a wider audience and connect with new clients. Link Personnel Services (LinkPS), based in Port Vila, Vanuatu is taking recruitment to the next level with the help of the BLP Subsidy Scheme. Link Personnel Services Director, Lenise Monteiro shares her insights in this weeks article.
Finding the “right person” to join your business can be tricky. If you and your team don’t have a background in human resource management, it can be a complex and time consuming process. Getting the results your business needs can be hit or miss, and small-medium sized enterprises (SMEs) don’t have money or time to waste recruiting the “wrong person”. That’s why it makes sense to work with expert recruiters to ensure you find and employ the “right person” says Link Personnel Services (LinkPS) Director Lenise Monteiro.
As Vanuatu’s only registered and licenced Recruitment and Employment Agency LinkPS manages recruitment and employment services, on behalf of local and international clients. Now through its partnership with Business Link Pacific (BLP) access to these services can be subsidised for small-medium sized businesses.
The relatively small yet complex Vanuatu labour market has some great talent, and businesses of all sizes are recognizing the value LinkPS can provide in finding the best candidates – from Executive Manager positions to front line staff. Last year, we helped recruit more than 40 positions for local and international organisations looking for quality Vanuatu candidates. The new Air Vanuatu CEO, CFO and General Manager Human Resources are examples of the successful and quality recruitment services LinkPS provides.
With the recent assistance of Business Link Pacific, LinkPS helped business consulting firm Pacific Digital Transformation successfully recruit a new Digital Marketing Consultant. After unsuccessful attempts to find suitable candidates themselves, Pacific Digital Transformation approached us to assist and together we worked under the BLP programme to successfully recruit the right person for the job.
Pacific Digital Transformation were able to access LinkPS expert services with a 50% subsidy for LinkPS’s recruitment support, including the design of the job advertisement, advertising, application management, suitability assessments, and recruitment reporting.
“The LinkPS team is skilled and experienced, with unique market expertise and their support enabled us to find the right candidate,” said Marc Gerard, Consulting Director of Pacific Digital Transformation.
LinkPS has an extensive database of skilled candidates which is continuously expanding. Our online application management system greatly helps to save our clients’ time so they’re not having to wade through paper applications and allows a better comparison of an applicant’s qualifications, skills and experience.
As skilled recruiters, naturally we also wanted the “right person” to join our team as our new dedicated Recruitment Manager. We are delighted to welcome aboard Lucas Rotteveel to LinkPS to help Vanuatu’s businesses find the right recruitment solutions.
